On Wednesday, Air India announced that it will present new flights starting next month, on many of its national and international routes, to meet the high demand.
The national airline said it will add 3,500 seats per week to its Mumbai-Dubai-Mumbai route starting June 1. It will also offer an additional 3,500 seats per week on its Delhi-Dubai-Delhi route starting on June 2 with its two new B787 Dreamliner aircraft flights.
In a statement, Air India announced a promotional offer for both routes. "The airline will offer a promotional fare in economy class of ₹ 7,777 (all inclusive) from Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai for sale and travel until July 31, 2019," he said.
Among the national routes, the airline will add flights to the Bhopal-Pune-Bhopal and Varanasi-Chennai-Varanasi routes starting on June 5.
The number of flights on the Delhi-Bhopal-Delhi route will increase from the current 14 flights per week to 20 flights per week.
Flights on the Delhi-Raipur-Delhi route will double from the seven existing flights per week to 14 flights per week.
The number of flights per week would be increased on routes such as Delhi-Bengaluru-Delhi, Delhi-Amritsar-Delhi, Chennai-Ahmedabad-Chennai, Chennai-Kolkata-Chennai, Delhi-Vadodara-Delhi and Mumbai-Vizag-Mumbai.
