This is a very quiet weekend for PC game offers. Steam is remarkably quiet, so now would be a good time for other retailers to intensify their game. Fortunately, there are some who seek to do just that.

Origin and GamersGate are in the middle of spring sales, and the first offers the best of the EA catalog. Star Wars Battlefront II, in particular, has the lowest price ever and now has about two years of content. Now may be a good time to explore, especially when leaving the Star Wars celebration panel today.

If you can not get away from Steam, check out Atlas. This pirated MMO had a difficult start, even for an early access game, but it is coming out of a massive update and is now half the price. So, if you're willing to take a chance on the stormy seas, take a look.

Here is our selection of PC offers this weekend:

In addition to regular discounts, Steam has a couple of additional weekend offers.

Ozzie has been playing video games since he acquired his first NES driver at the age of 5 years. Since then he has been involved in games, and has been briefly removed during his college years. But he was retired after spending years in quality control circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly devoting time to push the Guitar Hero series to its peak. Ozzie has become a huge fan of platform games, puzzles, shooting games and role-playing games, just to mention a few genres, but he's also a big jerk for anything with a good compelling narrative behind him. Because, what are video games if you can not enjoy a good story with a new Cherry Coke?
